Kathleen Culver: I got my B.A. from University of North Alabama, in Florence, where my family lived. I won first place in the Birmingham News Contest back in the day, also first place in the Southern Literary Festival. After retirement and a Ph.D. in Florida I launched into writing again with two books of poems and lots of work published in six volumes of Sinister Wisdom and three poems in the online anthology Older Queer Voices.
