I am an emerging transmasculine writer who holds other identities within the LGBTQ+ community and has ties to the South. Through my father, I have family in Florida, and my mother’s family resides in Virginia. While I do not currently reside in the South, I lived in Virginia and Tennessee for five of my formative teenage years, and my roots with my family deeply ingrain that area within my life even today.
