Cindy Watkins

Cindy Watkins is a graduate of the University of Georgia with dual degrees in Animal Science and English. A poet, writer, and geek, she lives in Alexandria, Va., with a three-legged cat. A Georgia native for most of her life, after three years in the DMV area, she has found exactly (2) restaurants that serve a decent biscuit. While still in mourning for Han Solo, she identifies as a demisexual lesbian. Cara Dune can get it.

Her poetry has been published in Screen Door Review, Little Paxtuxent Review, and Hoot Review, among others. Her visual poetry appears on Instagram under the handle @crafty_silence. Her feminist analysis of Carmen Sandiego, ‘“Well-Behaved Women Don’t Steal History,” recently appeared in the anthology “Heroines of Gaming” published by Select Start Press.
